PT Motion Works is a young startup with an incredibly novel product: the elliptiGO glide bike, a bicycle that pedals like an elliptical trainer, allowing exercisers to take this traditional gym workout outdoors. The bike has many great features, including an adjustable crank arm to modify stride length, and a shifting hub in the rear. Co-Founder Bryan Pate, a former Marine and Ironman triathlete, chats with me about bootstrapping the company, developing the unique design, and setting up a shop in a garage to build the prototypes.
